...Bonnie was helpful in outlining my goal, identifying when it is a problem, and breaking it down into changable steps. The problem became a goal which was much easier to change. ~Brenda

Dear Bonnie,
I would like to thank you for all you did for us and mostly for Thomas. For whatever reason, strangers were not allowed in his new home, or near it. We could live here with him fine, the other dogs were fine, but new people- no way. After using prescription drug therapy to no avail, we found you. The first day, he sat calmly with little barking and no hysterics for you- it brought tears to my eyes, as it was the first time in 1 1/2 yrs that EVER happened. In only a few sessions and lots of "homework", he progressed in what I consider leaps and bounds, to taking treats from you within a few feet with no barking. He even will catch a ball from you.
I know as time continues, and our sessions continue, he will continue to be more comfortable with people. I cannot thank you enough for helping Thomas and us and teaching me what was needed to bring out the great dog hidden in the fearful one.
Thanks ,

Emily

"The purpose of goals is to focus our attention. The mind will not reach toward achievement until it has clear objectives. The magic begins when we set goals. It is then that the switch is turned on, the current begins to flow, and the power to accomplish becomes a reality."

I met with Bonnie for a review and evaluation of some dog training/agility goals that I wanted to meet with my dog, Pip. I found the sessions surprisingly informational and helpful. The review of my previous runs with Pip and discussion of them provided some interesting input. The practice session outside and review and discussion of that taped session provided immediate input as to how the improvements would help me. The following weekend, I had 2 days of agility competition and was able to put some of what we talked about into practice. I hope to do more of the same moving forward. Both the topic and how it was approached was extremely helpful. ~Penney
